Distingué lors de concours internationaux, notamment deux fois finaliste du prestigieux concours Master Hasselblad en 2012 et 2018, Antoine Buttafoghi a exposé en France, au Luxembourg, au Japon, en Hongrie, au Royaume-Uni, en Inde, en Italie, en Russie et au Brésil. Il enseigne l'image et les techniques liées à la photographie et à l’image, depuis plus de 20 ans, en tant que professeur à l’université de Corse, à l’Ecole Européenne des Métiers de l’Internet à Paris et en tant que consultant.
Il a régulièrement collaboré avec le magazine « Création Numérique » en qualité de journaliste spécialisé.
