Mateusz was born and raised in Krakow, Poland. At the age of 17 he left Poland in order to pursue music education across the ocean, in the USA. Soon after he graduated with his Masters degree in Music Performance, he fell in love with photography and the true freedom it gave him to express himself. Very quickly after starting photography, Mateusz started to be more interested in the portraiture specifically and its power of emotion. In 2019 he opened his boudoir photography studio Silk + Salt in Utah after he witnessed transformative capabilities this type of photography had on other people. Since then, his photography gained a new mission - destroying people\'s insecurities about themselves, making them love themselves more, and helping them see themselves through an artistic eye. Camera is his \"weapon\" of choice. Mateusz enjoys many different passions but besides taking photos, he will never say no to building LEGO, watching movies, going on a trip, or talking about art and the meaning of all of \"this\". Black and white photography is his love but you can see him capture in color from time to time as well.
